With the support of the Municipality of Gore and the RCM of Argenteuil, and with the help of Conservation Manitou and the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC), we were able to establish ourselves as nature conservation NGO, and then get charitable status from the Canada Revenue Agency to issue tax receipts for cash donations and conservation land donations.

Our organization operates in and around Gore Township. We chose the name Lakefield, a former name of the region, to show that our action is not limited to the borders of Gore.

The registered number is: 77786-7292-RR0001
